Ergonomist (Remote Position)

This position expands the current Atlas leadership team to support our explosive growth. Depending on the experience of the candidate, their role can be an Account Manager (without new client sales responsibility) or a Director (with new client sales responsibility).

Like all of our staff positions, this is a home-based work opportunity. The individual can work anywhere in the continental US but must be within a reasonable distance to a major airport, and travel away from home of approximately 25%-50% should be expected. Inherently the position provides a high level of freedom and flexibility. However, we expect our team members to work the hours needed to meet the objectives of the business. In addition, this individual must be self-driven, disciplined, and not rely heavily on the social dynamic provided in an office environment.

Applicant Requirements:
Must be an experienced ergonomist.
A CPE is highly preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of industrial ergonomic risk analysis and solution development experience is required.
Design reviews/ job simulation ergonomics analysis experience is preferred.
Motion capture ergonomics analysis experience is preferred.
3 years of office ergonomic risk analysis and solution development experience is required.
Office ergonomics program management experience is preferred.
Ergonomic software design and development experience is preferred.
Experience with other injury prevention services such as job demands analysis, post-offer pre-employment and return to work physical function screens, and early intervention/industrial athlete services is preferred.
A minimum of 3 years of industry experience with program launch and ongoing account management is required.
Experience managing others is highly preferred.
Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Must be comfortable with working from home, and self-motivated enough to do so effectively.
Must have a quiet space within the home to conduct professional telephone conversations.
Must be highly organized, detail orientated, and able to multi-task easily.
Must have a positive, outgoing personality.

For the Director position only:
A minimum of 5 years of industry sales experience is required.
Experience with negotiating contracts and revising contract language is highly preferred.

General Responsibilities:

This individual’s primary responsibility is to ensure clients are happy and retained. This individual will manage the launch of programs and provide ongoing account management support, including management of site-based employees and subcontractors. This individual will train and oversee, or personally conduct ergonomic risk analysis and solution development activities. This individual will assist with organic sales opportunities with current clients. Depending on this individual’s experience and specialization, they may assist and/or lead the development and launch of new services and products. Finally, this individual will become part of a very participative leadership team, is expected to bring, and maintain industry experience and knowledge and be actively involved with sharing ideas and setting business direction.

Director Responsibilities:
This individual will focus on profitably growing our business. This includes selling services and products to new clients. This individual will help generate and respond to business inquiries, work collaboratively with the Atlas team as needed to generate proposals and follow up to close them.

Part Time Athletic Trainer, Physical Therapist, or Occupational Therapist, - Liberty, NC

Atlas IPS is currently looking for a Athletic Trainer, Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist to support a client in Liberty, North Carolina. that will provide onsite injury prevention services. The position will be responsible for triage, first aid, education, and program management.

Applicant Responsibilities:
Conducting assessments of employee musculoskeletal concerns. If appropriate, developing an action plan, addressing symptoms under OHSA allowable first aid, and provide worksite coaching.
Perform industrial and office ergonomic risk assessment and basic solution development.
Educate employees in proper body mechanics, stretching and general wellness.
Provide program management and client support as required.

Qualifications:
Must be located near and willing to travel to Liberty, North Carolina
Must be a licensed/certified in the State of North Carolina
Experience working within an industrial and office environment is highly preferred.
Experience with musculoskeletal injury triage/early intervention is highly preferred.

Part-Time Athletic Trainer - Schenectady, NY

Atlas IPS is currently looking for an Athletic Trainer to join our onsite team in Schenectady, NY to provide injury prevention services. The position is 20 hours per week and there is some flexibility in work schedule. The position will be responsible for triage and first aid of musculoskeletal concerns, education, job demands analysis, ergonomic analysis and solutions and physical function testing. This individual will work closely with an onsite Atlas IPS physical therapist and client EHS professionals.

Atlas IPS is currently looking for a part-time ATC to fill an opening in Reno, NV. The clinician will be responsible for providing evaluations, ergonomic risk assessments and solution development, program management, and wellness services. This is a 1099 contracted position.

Job Responsibilities:
