Atlas experts Drew Bossen, PT, MBA and executive vice president, Tony Silva, CPE, director and Kris Corbett, director, and Nick Menke, ATC, CSCS, certified athletic trainer, will head three sessions during the conference.

The session will show attendees how they can combine ergonomics, rehabilitation, and wellness into a holistic approach toward Total Worker Health. The Atlas team will discuss multiple case study outcomes with attendees, and will present vetted best practices that integrate different workplace interventions to better promote worker safety and health.
Corbett has over 25 years of experience in wellness, safety, and injury prevention with expertise in the manufacturing and construction industries. Bossen has over 30 years of experience working with companies across the country providing highly effective solutions to combat work-related injuries. Silva has 20 years of expertise in integrating ergonomics into existing business practices, including Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.

Continuing on last year’s popular session, Office Pain and Discomfort: Over 26,000 Employees Tell You Their Story, this session will discuss research conducted on 26,469 individuals working in office settings and identifies the five most important elements critical to implementing an effective office ergonomics program. Attendees will learn how to determine the relationship between discomfort, demographics, product, attitudes, and knowledge, and how to incorporate that knowledge into a sound office ergonomics program.
Mercury Marine: How to Hire Effectively into 300 Different Jobs

This case study session will explain how Mercury Marine developed a legally compliant pre-employment physical ability screen program for over 300 different jobs. The session will detail how the company developed a logical comprehensive program by cataloging jobs and utilizing methodologies to gather critical essential function data. The session will review how attendees with multiple jobs can develop and implement their own legally compliant and effective program.
Menke, ATC, CSCS, has over 10 years of experience in injury prevention and injured worker rehabilitation, with a focus on physical ability screens and essential function development.
