GRAND HAVEN, Michigan, March 9, 2014 – At this year’s Applied Ergonomics Conference in Orlando, Atlas Ergonomics will continue unveiling breakthrough cases of improved safety amid today’s organizational challenges. Tony Silva, Atlas’ field-leading expert in integrating ergonomics into existing business practices, will present four compelling case studies in two in-depth presentations with clear results and practical recommendations.
On Wednesday, March 26 at 2 p.m., Silva will share three studies in Early Intervention and Ergonomics: a Blended Approach to Prevent Injuries. Three companies with existing ergonomics programs had failed to reach their incident goals. All three also faced the common issue of aging and health-challenged employees who routinely sought medical treatment before attempting conservative care. Atlas helped the companies implement customized, blended approaches of early on-site intervention and proactive ergonomics, reducing reportable incidents by as much as 60 percent.
On Thursday, March 27 at 9 a.m., Silva will focus on ADA issues in Accommodation in the Office: Mapping Your Program for Success, Silva will share a case study of a multi-city 1,500-employee organization that developed an effective approach to ADA accommodations, with measurable improvements in both time and money. The success story will share the process, solution, and considerations taken in developing their program.
To learn more about either presentation, please contact Tony Silva at (616) 844-6322 ext. 3206 ortsilva@atlasergo.com.
