This session will illustrate how an improved flow of information between Human Resources, Safety, Ergonomics, and Workers’ Compensation significantly decreases OSHA recordable rates, lost time cases, workers’ compensation cases, and all associated costs. Tony Silva will present on the underlying reasons for office employee pain and discomfort. He will do so by examining data from 26,469 office workers, focusing on discomfort and its relationship to demographics, product use, ergonomic knowledge, and attitudes. By doing so, attendees will learn how to reduce risk and provide employees a more comfortable and productive work environment.
