Grand Haven, Michigan (May 6, 2016) – In our continued efforts to innovate and advance comprehensive injury prevention and management services, Atlas Injury Prevention Solutions (Atlas IPS) is pleased to announce one of our top injury prevention experts will once again be presenting a session at the upcoming American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHce) 2016 conference. The conference will be held May 21-26, 2016 at the Baltimore Convention Center, Baltimore, Maryland.
Tony Silva, CPE, Director of Ergonomic Services for Atlas, will deliver his presentation, titled “The ROI of Onsite Early Intervention to Prevent Strains and Sprains” as part of a podium session titled New Assessment Tools and Interventions to Manage MSD Risk. The Wednesday, May 25th session runs from 10 a.m. to 10:20 a.m. and will share the results from organizations that use onsite early intervention to reduce and eliminate recordable incidents.

The presentation will include:
- Keys to Early Intervention: How to accurately navigate around OSHA recordability rules.
- Case studies showing how companies have reduced their recordable incidents through on-site early intervention and proactive ergonomics.
- What types of results organizations can expect with a fully integrated injury prevention plan.
- Using Kaizen to quickly implement improvements.
“Too often, organizations put themselves in reactionary mode when it comes to handling recordable incidents,” says Silva. “By taking a more proactive, preventative stance, companies can reduce or eliminate such events, and improve productivity in the workplace.”
