Atlas Expert to Update American Trucking Association on Ergonomics

Grand Haven, MI—Sep 15, 2008— The American Trucking Association has asked Atlas Ergonomics, LLC to update its members on the state of ergonomics within the trucking industry. Atlas, specialists in reducing work-related injuries and their costs, will address industry safety and human resource leaders at the Safety and Loss Prevention Management Council Conference on September 25 in Nashville at 10:30 a.m
Atlas founder Drew Bossen will speak to members of the Occupational Safety and Health Committee on the potential effects of the presidential election, recent ergonomic research, and ergonomic strategies that have been proven to have positive results for companies and employees. Bossen will also be available to share information during exhibition hours. Conference attendees are invited to meet and speak with him at Booth #144.
Bossen is a licensed physical therapist and ergonomist with an MBA. He has helped transportation companies reduce injury-related costs through the use of post-offer, pre-employment screening; driver, warehouse, and office ergonomics strategies; injury triage protocol; and on-site therapy and injury reduction educational programs.
