Atlas Ergonomist to Speak on “More Training and Less Pain”

GRAND HAVEN, Michigan, March 6, 2007 –Atlas Ergonomics will share recent results of its extensive study of the relationship between employee training and reported discomfort among office workers. The presentation will take place March 13 at the Applied Ergonomics conference in Dallas.
David Brodie, Atlas director of ergonomic services, will speak on “Reducing Pain in the Office - Can Training Achieve This Goal?” His presentation will center on an Atlas white paper detailing the impact of training and reducing employee discomfort. Brodie will highlight the results of an Atlas field study in combination with peer-reviewed literature to illustrate the importance of knowledge, as well as products, in office ergonomics.
Brodie is a Board-Certified Professional Ergonomist with 14 years of experience providing ergonomics consulting and training services to corporations across North America.
