Grand Haven, Mich. – May 21, 2007 – In support of its ongoing mission to promote safer work environments, Atlas Ergonomics will share its most recent discoveries in analyzing risks to employee safety and reducing injuries in industrial settings.

David Brodie, Atlas director of ergonomic services, will speak on "Ergonomics Risk Assessment: Maximizing the Value of a Physical Demands Analysis" at two national conferences in May and June. Brodie’s presentations will highlight specific information and tools that help companies react to workplace injuries, assist in the return-to-work process, and develop a proactive approach to preventing future incidents.

“Industrial employers may not realize how optimizing data collection can help them both prevent, and react more cost-effectively to, musculoskeletal injuries,” said Brodie, a Board-Certified Professional Ergonomist with 14 years of experience and two degrees in kinesiology.

On May 31, Brodie will speak on this topic at the Eastern Ergonomics Conference Exposition (EECE) in New York. On June 27, he will present at the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) annual professional development conference and exposition in Orlando.
